Pat O’Donnell & Co. and Clare GAA Continue Successful Partnership with New Jersey Launch
Pat O’Donnell & Co. is turning 50 in 2020 and for almost half its existence the company has been associated with Clare GAA.
In order to mark this special occasion the company commissioned a special jersey for Clare GAA to wear in 2020 featuring a new Pat O’Donnell & Co. 50 Years logo. This new jersey was presented simultaneously to the Captains of Clare Senior Hurling & Football Teams, John Conlon, and Eoin Cleary at the start of the Allianz Leagues by Pat O’Donnell, Managing Director, in Ennis and PJ O’Donnell, Director, in Mullingar on Sunday January 26, 2020. This jersey is a similar design to the jersey worn in 2019 with the exception of the logo and it will only be worn by County Board players and will not be available for sale.
“This company has grown since its inception in 1970, with one employee and the licence to sell just one product, the Volvo Loading Shovel. We now have almost one hundred employees, four branches, we are still with Volvo Construction Equipment but have their full range of equipment, our other partners include Volvo Penta, Rammer, Magni, Avant and Sennebogen. It has been one of my greatest pleasures to give back to the county of my birth through the company’s sponsorship of Clare GAA and ensuring that this support was maintained despite the country’s recent economic ups and downs. During our time as sponsor the county has won 23 Championship titles across a range of grades and I am hopeful for further successes in the future,” commented Pat O’Donnell, Managing Director, Pat O’Donnell & Co.
