Rammer, the largest manufacturer of hydraulic hammers in the world was founded in 1978 to manufacture hydraulic equipment for the construction and mining industries. Today, as part of the Sandvik Tamrock Corporation, it strives to meet the ever-growing demand for primary and secondary breakers, demolition cutter crushers, pulverisers and recycling equipment in an ever more exacting environment.

The Rammer Range extends to cover small, medium and large Rammer Hammers up to 7.5 tons with the options of city silencing, dust control, underwater use, Ramlub systems, pro-control systems, biodegradable oil compatibility and Ramona data recording. Rammer Cutter Crushers and Pulverisers were added to the Rammer portfolio in recent years. Rammer Breaker Booms have been developed and customized for mining and quarrying operations dealing with oversize rock being presented at the crusher and are currently leaders in their field in Ireland.

Pat O'Donnell & Co., distributors in Ireland since 1982, provides after-sales service and back up unrivalled in the industry. With Rammer service bays in all four depots and factory trained engineers, Rammer Hammers up to 7.5 tons are regularly overhauled in the four branches located nationwide.

Pat O'Donnell & Co., work closely with both Rammer and customers to ensure that customers make the right investment and have the know-how to maintain that investment in the years ahead. Our customers have come to rely heavily on our technical resources and our choice of tools for specific rock applications, boulder breaking applications and tunnelling applications. The company works with customers to extend the life of tools and wearing parts and to define hammer size, production levels and wear rates.
